Welcome to 2016 (theme), I thought this vintage kitchen would remind us of how far we have come. Web design continues to change and grow and I am keeping up with it.
The technology of web design has gone through so many changes, it has been a roller coaster ride. WordPress looks promising these days. It has been around for quite a while, and the open source aspect of it tends to create a special community of people.
Lately, I have been “tightening up” my business. That means I no longer try to do everything.
I am more focused now on content oriented websites, as opposed to doing whatever comes along. I don’t do things that I am not familiar with anymore. Not like the old days when I would try anything and everything, and at that point, I could do as well as anyone else near my level because the technology was up in the air.
It seems that finally, the tech of web design is settling down a bit. Standards are being adopted, though slowly to allow for further innovation. So it is time to find stability. It may be possible now. Lots of web technologies have come and gone, but some have found their niche and are glad.
I am finding mine.
